On January 21, 2016, we made a Facebook post highlighting one of Cheryl Carroll’s fundamental principles of patient care:
Cheryl Carroll says “being present” is fundamental in her patient care. Anyone who has been seen by Cheryl can see how this value is just part of what makes her a calm and caring practitioner.
We didn’t anticipate that this post would garner such a heartfelt response! Here are some of the comments our patients posted:
“Cheryl’s calmness shines through in her smile! Beautiful photo!”
“She is the best.”
“A beautiful person inside and out and so caring. Love you.”
“Cheryl is awesome. She never left my side while I was giving birth to my now 3-year-old Emma. Without her I don’t know what I would have done. I recommend her to everyone.”
“We love you Cheryl Carroll!!!”
“BEST midwife I ever worked with. She understands the meaning of compassionate care.”
“Aww! I saw Mrs. Cheryl when I was pregnant with my son. Eight years ago, she made me feel so comfortable.
“Cheryl is the most compassionate, knowledgeable midwife ever. Love her and loved working with her!”
“Awesome all the time!! I love Cheryl!! Calm, positive and loving.”
“Cheryl is so great! I met her at my first prenatal appointment and she was absolutely wonderful!”
“And she listens. She doesn’t make you feel like you’re just a patient on her schedule and she really needs to move on to the next one. She takes her time and cares about you as a person.”
“Cheryl was so awesome when I was sent to hospital to be induced. I had not met her before I was in the hospital. She was so caring, made sure I knew my options, and made me feel very comfortable!”
