Dr. Kelly Raney grew up in Iowa and received her bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa. She then moved to Durham and achieved her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Duke University. Kelly has specialized training and certifications in the field of pelvic health and manual physical therapy, and is a board certified mastectomy fitter (CFm) for pre and post op breast care. Additional training includes certified pelvic rehab practitioner (PRPC) through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute and a certified orthopedic manual therapist (COMT) through Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy. She is also certified in Dry Needling (Cert. DN).
In addition to clinical care, Kelly is an instructor with the Duke University Doctor of Physical Therapy program specializing in pelvic health advanced elective courses. Having almost 10 years of experience and care within pelvic health physical therapy in the Triangle, Kelly enjoys working with women and men in all areas of pelvic health needs.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys being outside doing any activity with her family and keeping up with her three young children. She loves exploring Durham and cheering for all things Duke sports related.
