Gynecology

Durham Women’s Clinic offers complete gynecologic care throughout a women’s lifetime. Our physicians, midwives, and physician’s assistant are all available for your gynecologic needs. From adolescence through menopause, our services range from yearly preventive exams to diagnosis and treatment of most gynecologic medical conditions. We perform surgery at Davis Ambulatory Surgical Center, Duke Regional Hospital, and North Carolina Specialty Hospital.

Our services include:

• Adolescent gynecology

• Annual well woman exams and pap smears

• Diagnosis and management of abnormal uterine bleeding

• Diagnosis and management of pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, fibroids, and endometriosis

• Family planning and contraception services (both Long Acting Reversible Contraception and Hormonal Contraception)

• Gynecologic surgery including minimally invasive techniques

• Infertility evaluation and initial treatment

• In-office procedures

• Screening and treatment of sexually transmitted infections

• Treatment of abnormal pap smears

• Management of abnormal menstrual bleeding

• Menopause care including hormone replacement therapy

• MonaLisa Touch vaginal laser

• Pelvic surgery

• Urinary incontinence evaluation and treatment
