Dr. Satterfield grew up in Colorado and received a B.S from Colorado State University. She moved to North Carolina after college and attended the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. She completed her Ob/Gyn residency at Duke University Hospital.
Her clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (including robotic surgery), contraception care, adolescent gynecology, and high and low risk obstetrics. She is passionate about caring for women of all ages and backgrounds and developing continuity with them. She is fluent in Spanish. Outside of work she enjoys chasing around her busy toddler, as well as spending time at the beach and in the NC mountains with her family. She loves coffee and prior to going to medical school even worked as a barista at Starbucks.
